CoST Sekondi-Takoradi has formally launched two digital tools—the Infrastructure Analytical Dashboard (IAD) and the Electronic Infrastructure Monitoring Tool (E-IMT)—to strengthen transparency and accountability in public infrastructure delivery by enabling comprehensive analysis of disclosed project data and facilitating citizen-led monitoring of implementation. The IAD provides interactive visualization and filtering of infrastructure data disclosed by local authorities, helping stakeholders assess value-for-money, contract administration, and other performance metrics, while the E-IMT supports real-time reporting and tracking of project progress to bolster public oversight. The introduction of these tools builds on ongoing efforts by CoST Sekondi-Takoradi to promote open infrastructure governance through data disclosure, independent assurance, and multi-stakeholder engagement, with the objective of driving evidence-based reforms and enhancing citizen participation across eight local government authorities in the Western Region. By leveraging these digital platforms, the initiative aims to improve accessibility to project information, empower communities to hold duty-bearers accountable, and support more effective infrastructure outcomes.
